This academic year, we will be starting our Pupil Librarian programme whereby all the children from Year 3 to 6 will be given the opportunity to become Librarians.

Our School Librarians will be involved with the running of the Library and are there to have a positive impact on the school community by promoting reading across the school. 

The duties of our school librarians will include:

• Encouraging others to treat the Library with respect.
• Helping others to find books and make recommendations.
• Being role models during class library sessions; encouraging quiet reading time, helping to scan books for borrowing/returning and returning books to the shelves.
