Primary Admissions

If you have a child born between 1 September 2017 and 31st August 2018, you need to apply for their place at primary school at:

Friday 5th November 2021- Applications open online

Senacre Wood Open Morning- Monday 22nd November from 9:30

Senacre Wood Open Afternoon- Wednesday 24th November from 2pm

Monday 17th January 2022- Closing date for applications.

Admissions Policy

In the event of the school being over-subscribed for the Reception Year, places are allocated according to the following LEA admission criteria, in priority order:

• Children in local authority care

• Current family association (a brother or sister in the school at the time of entry)

• Health reasons (for which a medical certificate may be needed)

• Nearness of children’s homes to the school

Parents considering applying to the school at other times during their child’s/children’s primary years are most welcome to visit the school in the event that a place is available.


Applications for admission into Reception class for September 2022 will close on 17 January 2022.

If you applied online you will be emailed on 19 April 2022 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered.
