World Book Day

World Book Day is a celebration!

It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading.

On Thursday 3rd March 2022, we joined in the celebration! We asked staff and pupils to come in dressed as their favourite book characters. Throughout the day, we enjoyed a range of different activities linked with books and reading.

This included-

• Creating book reviews in different formats
• Reading with reading buddies from different classes
• Designing book tokens

At the end of the day, all the pupils were able to sign up to listen to different members of staff reading some of their favourite stories.
